A twofer and a good challenge because food shots are not my best thing. I don't do cake often so I just didn't know what to do. Broke down and brought this one at the grocery store. My battery ran down and so It took a while to charge and play with the photo. I would have cut a piece but then I might eat. Think I'll take to the office tomorrow. Oh sweet tooth be silent.
Love the candle colors coordinate with the fall colors on the cake! I'm impressed at that you managed to not take a slice and gobble it up :), Look delicious!
I'm so impressed with you and your willingness to accept these challenges. Not my cup of tea but I know it is how we improve and grow as photographers. I agree with the others - never could have resisted a piece. I imagine your workmates thought your were great when you showed up with cake!!
