To Clean or not to Clean by joansmor

To Clean or not to Clean

Here is my very bad photo for today. I need to get to work and no more time to play
I like the fact that we can still see something through the curtain.

May be mundane, but well composed!

I like how the curtain blowing and the sunny day outside make it clear that cleaning shouldn't be your first priority! And it has a kind of melancholy feel as if the vacuum would like to go outside too. perfect title

Ok wait ... was imagining it was some exotic vase — looking ever so dreamy beyond the curtains -well at least you got some cleaning done today -

The sense of fabric with its folds adds a lot to this. (& it the vac looks so ceramic!)
February 12th, 2019
Definitely not to clean, life's too short for that
February 12th, 2019
Well, it created a lot of interest anyway :) Nicely composed shot Peter.... oops Joan, haha!!

interesting ...

@bella_ss Whose Peter?

Is it a hand-vac? Or is it an art piece demonstrating the male dominated society's misguided opinion that woman are supposed to stay home and clean the house? Notice the piece is tilted slightly to indicate to the viewer that this antiquated opinion of women is skewed and should be disregarded altogether. That it is placed near the window is the artist's optimistic view that once enlightened all men will finally treat women as equals.

I will now go do a load of laundry.

@olivetreeann A. No man in my life B. When he was alife he did dishes and laundry and paid a housekeeper to come in once a month. So I had no complaints, But a very cool interpretation of my on the run set up.
