Annual dandelion puff photo

I try to get one of these every year though I don't always post. Had some fun with editing.
Nice shot Joan. They feature regularly in my project.

I like the high contrast you brought out in this black and white. I took a couple dandelion shots up at the big white barn I took you to the other day. They're not as nice as this one so I don't know if they'll get posted or not- but this one is really nice!

@olivetreeann I edited this in Topaz Studio and then in LR. I am looking into replacing my two main lens as they have seen better days. I am buying from Amazon one is about a zoom to 70 and the other is 200. Would love to 300 instead and a lower end on the 70. Any suggestion would be appreciated (Nikon to remind you).

@joansmor I have a Canon so I'm not sure how that effects the lens BUT I will say this- the two lenses I purchased from my camera store were Tamron and I love them! They are sharp, easy to use and a good product for their reasonable cost. So, numbers... uh... you know how good I am with those! The one I usually have on my camera is 17-50mm f/2.8. The other is my macro lens and it is a 90mm f/2.8 with a macro ratio of 1:1. At least that's what's printed on them. My zoom is a Canon so that won't help you. But I'm really pleased with the Tamrons and use them all the time! I hope that's helpful.

LOL Now I understand why you sent me that email with the lens information on it!
