Gone

There is an old farmstead that I have been documenting its demise. It has been torn down I learned today. The people that owned it and the farm across the street (all in the same family have passed on and the younger generation is getting ready to build and maybe make a store on this site. We talked to them. I am going to send them pictures I have taken over the years. This is the last picture I took that I could find in my project. https://365project.org/joansmor/365/2019-01-27 Two things I didn't say the store is a farm store selling what the grow beef, chicken etc. They will be doing some of that in the property across the street also family land.
Makes a great photo. I am glad they kept it in the family.

There's something so sad about a farm being turned into a store. Such is life- great black and white though.

Seems I do remember you taking the deteriorating barn. Not sure change is always good.

I looked at your old shot. It really needed major work. Kinda sad to have history and old homes being replaces. I hope they put up something nice.

@olivetreeann a store where they sell what they grow. Beef, chicken, pork etc. I should have said a farm stand store. THe farm on the other side will still do the farming.
