Electric Water

Light Installation Artist Bruce Monro had a work at Longwood Gardens in 2012. If you would like to see his work please go to www.brucemunro.co.uk.
Beautiful!! Was this their Christmas light show or the one they do in the summer? This past year they did an amazing show where the lighting looked like birds and butterflies sliding through the trees and over the lake!

@cgribben This was the summer show by Bruce Monro. This was a opportunity that the gardens offered to photographers to have access to the installation by themselves (cost $150?) Not sure if they do this type of access anymore. I was just playing around with a point and shoot Sony and liked what happened.

@joysabin I think they still do it. This summer's installation was by the Klip Collective and it was amazing!! I'll have to keep my eye out for the opportunity the next time.

@pickerandagrinner Thank you, this was a blast to do. I just moved my camera as it was exposing and thiswas the result. The artist Bruce Monro now has an installation in Phoenix so I'm going to post more of what I find there.

There is a Hasselblad shooter on Facebook who shoots intentionally blurred shots from his tripod. He taps the camera ever so gently and comes up with very painterly images. This is a cool technique that is hit or miss and you hit on this one.

@pickerandagrinner Does this photographer have a website? I'm not on facebook.
