Gloria

I was reminded of Gloria Swanson in 'Sunset Boulevard' when I shot this a while ago. This is what's inside a Saguaro Cactus. They are very slow growing and live a very long time taking at least 50 years to just produce a branch bud.

@octogenarian Thank you, these are fascinating plants. They appear to be strong giants but really are rather delicate because they take so long to flourish.
