Trying to make the dirty snow on the roadside look more interesting. Salt isn't used here so cinders are sprinkled over streets which makes for rather dirty snow but it has traction.
Very creative..love the colors which makes it into an interesting abstract.
Since snow is rare on the coast we use a course sandy gravel , but it's hard on the paint job.. I've never heard of cinders being used,
@nanderson@nydelignorsk Thank you very much. I need to get out of town for non-snow shots, maybe I'll work on abstracts inside. Flag's mountains are extinct volcanoes so we have an abundance of cinders around.
