Scottsdale Canal with Blooms by joysabin

Scottsdale Canal with Blooms

These 'Blooms' are a part of Bruce Monro's art currently in Phoenix and Scottsdale Arizona. There are 7 platforms (which resemble 'Blooms') in the canal. Each having 100 multi colored fishing poles threaded with optical fiber. The use of fishing rods is a reverse reference to the protection of the White Amur fish which is imported by the Salt River Project and helps keep the canals clean.
How intriguing -- great with the low lighting.

@blueberry1222 Oh go, I think that the installation at the garden is very good but the canal was much more inviting- no crowds to deal with.
