Hoover Dam

My get-pushed partner, Jay Butterfield @jaybutterfield challenged me to " how about I challenge you to a shot that captures activity/motion,etc"
I am on my way to Vegas for a conference this weekend and stopped to see Hoover Dam which I haven't seen since I was little (long, long time ago). It was busier than I remember and the lake is much lower than it should be. We walked from out free parking spot across the dam. The noise that these bikers made echoed off the canyon walls- strange effect.

@chard - You are so right, I was amazed how many people there were on a Thursday afternoon. Still nice to see it again.

I went to the Hoover Dam about 25 years ago & there were very few people there. It was very hot after stepping out of an A/C car.Would love to go back.

@maskerade Thank you, they were going slow (15 mph) but I couldn't get my shutter speed adjusted in time but kinda liked the way it worked anyway,

A nice shot just as is. You were lucky to get those motor cycles - I can hear the noise echoing from the rock wall.

@octogenarian Thank you so much for the fav. It was cool to be there but the level of Lake Mead behind the dam is scary low.
