Just a strange look at a piece of construction equipment. Couldn't stop thinking that these were birds. Yeah, I know I'm out there. Crazy is way more fun than normal which is just a setting on my dryer.
Posting a bit early since I am off to the canyon very early for a walk along the south rim.
Have you ever read the book 'Furiously Happy' by Jenny Lawson? I picked it up one day, while killing a little time in a bookstore. I hardly ever buy a new hard cover book anymore ( I'm too cheap) but after reading the first three pages I had to buy this one. This picture and your comment reminded me of it.
@gardencat The local library has a couple of copies, off to snag it and looking forward to reading this weekend. Bookstores are one major criteria when we travel and explore new areas. @lizhammond So glad to have company out here in the either I just love to find the unusual but finding something funny at the same time is a real bonus. @andywallis Glad you liked it, it was on a daily walk when I came upon the monstrosity. @gerry13 Thank you, the strange back end of a construction machine which is quickly ruining one of my favorite walks. @sketch2 Thank you, I wonder about my sense of reality at times. too. @dorsethelen Thank you, the cropping and processing really did the trick. @deborah63 Thank you, I hadn't thought of that but, you're right. @brett101 Thank you, I gotta try to find some good in the destruction that these machines are creating around here. @megpicatilly Thank you, I usually stay out of the way of things but this machine wasn't being used so I snuck around and then spotted the claw end. @ukandie1 Thank you, I tried to do b&w but the color seemed to fit better, the b&w was just too strange even for me. @francoise Normal is often a universe that I just don't get. @jerome Thank you so very much for the fav.
