Scanner Shot No 1

My first attempt at Scanography for the technical challenge. ( http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/28924/new-technique-challenge-65-scanography). I took a plastic mobile and wiggled it while scanning for preview. I actually liked the preview better since the scan process took much longer and the movement wasn't as weird as I got with the preview version. This is a DSLR shot of the preview image since I couldn't figure out how to save the preview.
Oh I like this. I love the colours and the wiggly lines.

@deborah63 Thank you, I could learn to like this technique.

this is intriguing - I love the lines & reflective nature, and it really is creative 'mixed-media'. I wonder if you set the ppi to 'scan' at a lower resolution ( like the preview may be 150ppi or less) if the scan lamp would move faster?

@ltodd You are a genius! I tried lowering the resolution and love the results. Thank you ever so much.

@joysabin i made a quick google search about it.apart from a scanner it must takes a lot of effort to scanography but i think one can create some very artistic shots

@kali66 I think that this technique (no matter how it is done) has great potential. Art is limitless.

@overalvandaan Thank you, I wonder how crazy I am but then we artists have an excuse, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

@lizhammond The slow movement of the light on the scanner bed was just asking/begging me to do something strange- who was I to disagree? :)
