@megpicatilly Thank you, these were the instruction bottles, each guest had 4 different shots to taste and learn about.
@dorsethelen Thank you, this is from my phone, the room was very dark for most of the time and then before all the drinking started, the sun hit the right angle.
@overalvandaan Thank you, the whisky instructor looked at me with a peculiar look when I took this. There was a Mylar sheet on the table since as the tasting took place in the historic home and using original furniture so, the reflection was something I had to take advantage of.
@s4sayer Thank you, the shoot was fun and since I've never acquired a taste for whisky I didn't have a problem not partaking.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond The fund raiser had various levels of whiskies -it started out at $100, then $125, and finally at $150. You received an hour of tasting 4 separate whiskies, instruction to learn how to appreciate the various aspects and then chocolates and other baked goodies. I also made souvenir bookmarks for each guest with the whiskies that they were introduced to.
@gardencat I haven't learned to appreciate fine whisky and I didn't have the funds to participate so I'm okay with only shooting. Maybe next year I will join in as well as take shots.
Lol, I believe we have a bottle of that in our cupboard! My other half is a whisky drinker, I can't stand the stuff... Nice shot anyway, I like the reflections on the table.
@eudora Thank you, I do not partake of this but felt lucky to be asked to take pictures for the event.
@stephanies I'm with you on whisky, not my first or last choice to drink.
@ziggy77 Thank you, funny how the phone had the better exposure - my dslr was being too fussy since the room was rather dark and I have no special lights to use.
