A piece of Arizona and America's history. This motel is most unique. I was helping 2 large dogs(a mastif, Minni and a Akita, Keiko) along their journey to a forever home today and made the extra time to stop in Holbrook, Arizona to snag a shot or two of this icon on Rt 66. @haskar The remnants of Rt 66 still have great character.
@jernst1779 Thank you so much, my Grandmother had a Studebaker, though not a truck.
@octogenarian Very grateful for the fav, thank you so kindly.
@golftragic Love that Movie, at least only the 1st one. It is true when I40 was opened, so many tiny traditions along Rt 66 just withered away, Very grateful for the fav.
@graemestevens Thank you very much for the fav. Gotta love 'kitch'
@fbailey Very grateful for the fav. Glad that I brought my iPhone, Holbrook has lots of issues with its economy these days but so far stills hangs on.
@pistache Thank you so kindly for the fav.
