Many years ago a tribute of a star was placed at the graves of those from Flagstaff that served in the Civil War. Memorial Day's weather was sober, rain, wind and snow. ( http://www.usmemorialday.org/?page_id=2 )
Wonderful Memorial Day shot. Great DOF and processing. Fav. I haven't read much about Civil War soldiers from the West, but I know the war effected the whole country.

@eudora Truly appreciate the fav. I don't know if it was known if any of these soldiers fought in Arizona's only Civil War battle ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Picacho_Pass ) but to recognize their service in that war was an important thing to do.
