Everything is wrong here (tripod legs were being reflected, white area in the corner) but I still kept coming back to this. I was attempting to 'do' more Frances Seward's style of abstract photography through glass but, nothing really was clicking so to speak. I'm just happy that I didn't break the glass as I did with my coffee carafe this morning.
@marlboromaam@linnypinny You are so kind, thank you. I did break the carafe while reaching to clean it - otherwise it would have been a terrible, very bad day.....
The white in the corner shouldn't work. The space at the top shouldn't work. And yet... it totally does somehow! It kinda looks like a comic character caught in a vortex. A shame about the carafe, tho!
This is interesting because you have no idea what it is and can just keep staring at it trying to figure it out. Cool. So sorry about the carafe! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I hate it when I break something by accident like that.
Sometimes when I get an idea or concept for shots, my mind and my camera don't 'talk' so well. I just play around with the glass and hoped. The result sorta reminded me of a something falling or spinning out of the frame. Thank you all so very very much for your kind and supportive comments.
