State Fruit

In my previous times living in Oregon I never once saw an Oregon Grape ( Mahonia aquifolium ). These are in my backyard.

@marlboromaam @ljmanning @olivetreeann @eudora Thank you so much. I just googled these, they aren't really all that much of an eating grape more for medicinal purposes. I am looking forward to canning next year, pears are a favorite of my husbands. I hope to make some apple butter this fall as I can't seem to find it in the stores, at least not yet.
