This is mighty Columbia River in Wenatchee Washington. There are at least 3 wild fires in the area and the smoke that has drifted and taken up residence in the valley is both amazing and frightening. There wasn't much wind to help disperse the smoke, although it did clear some in the late afternoon.
I sure know what it’s like to experience that nearby fire smoke. It hasn’t been as bad this year for us, but it appears to have moved north. I hope they get them out quickly.
@kathyladley@shutterbug49@talmon@joansmor@marlboromaam Thank you so very much. In talking with a fellow photographer on Saturday, there were 3 fires around, 2 lightening caused and 1 unknown but human started is suspected. Fires are scary and unfortunately increasingly common these days.
