Pruned too soon by joysabin

Pruned too soon

I was overly ambitious this fall. I trimmed/pruned my roses too soon but was kindly gifted with new growth. This is also day 3 of OWO (one week only) with the prompt being ISO 100.
Lovely color and drops.

We've sure had strange weather - it's gone back to the 70's here after that dip into the 30's. Imagine the plants are thoroughly confused

Gorgeous colours and bokeh.

I just hope that the roses don't put too much energy into the new growth and not live themselves enough for the spring. Fingers crossed.

@summerfield This lens is a lensbaby 35mm ( https://lensbaby.com/products/composer-pro-ii-with-sweet-35-optic?variant=41016837144759 ) which is a manual lens so exif info doesn't register the fstop which was set at f2.8. These lenses are a blast but do take a little but of time to 'get' and of course you have to appreciate the blur. Thank you kindly for your supportive comment.

@shutterbug49 @jgpittenger @amyk @kathyladley @gardencat @ljmanning @milaniet @marlboromaam So very thankful for your most kind comments. I have been told that it is tough to 'do in' roses in Oregon. I am going to run with that.
