We had a feast today. Our first egg arrived last week and the hens have been giving us one every other day or so. We've had 5 eggs thus far.
This particular breed ( https://www.thehappychickencoop.com/cream-legbar-chicken/ ) are usually known for producing pale blue eggs. Ours, a individualists for sure, the eggs so far are pale green but who really cares. The eggs are good and eggshell wasn't on the menu. The brown one was from the local co-op so it was local but not from our chickens.
Our farmers’ market egg seller usually puts different colors in the carton. They remind us of Easter eggs. Like you say, no difference in the taste or the look of the inside.
Great shot and interesting info!
