He’s got his wings again and with this pose he seems ready to take flight. A near perfect portrait of Diego at this age, in this shot we get him in my favorite of his t-shirts and standing with strength and purpose, framed by the tunnel of trees that provide a canopy over the path from our yard to the athletic fields behind our home. I’m no photographer, but the years I spent learning how to make movies gave me an eye, and this is one of my very favorite portraits I have ever taken. Lighting, framing, subject... all align and present a capture of this little one’s personality. What a child. What a rockstar. What a life.
