Another lovely day and Nigel had a bit of time off so joined Monty and me on our walk. Multi-tasking with the bank meant that we did another trip to Jesus Green - Monty was very happy to have somebody with a decent throwing arm in attendance. Heading back along the Quayside you get a view of Bridge Street and the original Cam bridge (well the site of the original - I'm pretty sure the original wasn't expected to bear dozens of buses each day). The buildings behind the tree are parts of St John's College - the modern part (The Cripps Building) has been undergoing renovation for a few years but they have finally finished and the scaffolding has all gone. It isn't concrete but Portland stone which you may be forgiven for thinking is just expensive concrete but it does look very smart now it's all been cleaned.
