A slightly odd day doing things like looking at new cars. It always seems such a faff at the VW garage as they go through every finance and insurance option known to man despite our protestations. And they still haven't valued our car - I wasn't best pleased to see that somebody has scraped my wheel arch in the last couple of days. Anyway I think we know what we want to buy when the garage will let us. The first tree in the garden to blossom is a cherry plum tree which is a bit high up to photograph and then the damson comes in to bloom. It's having a good year despite falling apart (apparently damson trees can stand a bit of collapse).
The damson blossom is so early.....the blossom is so pretty when you look closely but the trees are rather ugly I always think....sales pitch at these garages go on & on...they don't seem to comprehend that they need to just say the best price without going into all the different possibilities! I love car buying...when we get chance that is!
@peggysirk@happypat So it's universal then! VW seem to be especially bad - we've bought and sold cars over the phone in the past and then just turned up to exchange but getting a trade in price from these people is a major task - and I know exactly what it's worth because you can do it on line. AND I checked online before we went that they had what we want but both demonstrators were off the premises.
Good luck with the car purchase. I hate buying cars. The process is numbing. :(
our apricot tree has some good blossom this year, so I am hoping we will get some fruit this year
