I was going to post a photo of the peacock butterfly more side on but then realised from the top in this orientation you really get a feel for the purpose of those 'eye' markings. It really is staring in an intense way!
A beautiful day today - shame I had to get some work and shopping done - I could have spent all day lying in a chair in the garden given a chance.
