It's Rachel's 21st birthday just when we get back from holiday and she's having a bit of a party with her home and uni friends. I didn't think I'd have chance to make a cake as well as getting organised for a crowd to sleep over and a big BBQ so she took matters in to her own hands and ordered her own from Patisserie Valerie. Waiting outside with the dog I realised you could get some odd effects in the shop window. I have at least paid for it!
I thought it was a double exposure and I suppose it is really! Good that the local shop benefits from this. Would be a heck of an expense for so many though!
I'd say you are an excellent mom, Judith. You're hosting the party - perfectly acceptable to have others make the cake. Me, I'd have the BBQ catered as well. ☺
