I have been lazy in the extreme today largely because the dog woke me up at 2am and I didn't really get any decent sleep after that. I started to list all the jobs that need doing before A goes off to university - in between at least two other trips he has planned of course. I gave up on sleep and started to read my book which didn't help as it was very tense and then stopped abruptly as in turns out that the series is of 4 books not 3. Fourth book out in English on 1st September - phew!
This photo immedietly reminded me of the VJ celebrations. The old boots with the colours behind. Although I know it's not the Union Jack the colours remind me of it.
Busy days for you getting Adam ready......the time will soon go! I have downloaded a sample of your book, the first one, will be good when I have finished my light relief with Carole Mathews. I loved Four Fires but it was rather traumatic at the end!
These are made of pottery I expect. I've got some old boots but I think they would go mouldy and disintegrate rapidly with plants in them. Poor you being awake all that time. You will have to give the dog sleeping pills!
