Tranquil looking but they were just coming to hiss at the dogs. Quite a nice morning to exercise the mutt around Milton Country Park and chat to friends - the forecast goes downhill from here. Hopefully the dry weather forecast for Wednesday won't disappear - it was showing full sun last night when I booked tickets for the outdoor Shakespeare festival and has switched to cloud. Come on August - it's summer!
We're off to Derby Dales for our "summer" holiday tomorrow.....wellies and waterproofs and multitude of spare dry clothes packed (and not just for the potty training child...) Hope rain stays away for you.
Six teenagers.....they have their hands full! Meandering is a great word for all the duck life on the rivers & canals..your water looks cleaner than ours!!
At least people in your area let them have their eggs and hatch them. People around here take the eggs away and put fake ones in their nests so we don't get over populated with swans. Can you believe somebody would do that!!!!!!!!!!!! So sad. The swan populations stays low because of other animals that eat them anyway.
I think we need a rerun of August with warm sunny weeks!
