Actually taken yesterday but they have been much the same! The weather is all over with very strong winds last night from Storm Barney. It was completely calm and dry with lovely clear starry skies at 5am when I took Monty out though. Ten mins after this photo it was lashing with rain and 10 mins after that the sun broke through. Not a good day for punting...
5am!!!!! 5am is time for bed. Sounds like our weather, thankfully the sun came out when it was school run time. We've tried umbrellas but frankly controlling a 3 and 6 in possession of umbrellas is so not worth it. That's what waterproofs and wellies are for.
@newbank Agreed all round! Wish we'd had those all in one wader things - better than sou'westers when they fall over. We have a very cute photo of ours wearing them 30 secs before a very large puddle and disaster struck. Have attempted to explain to the dog - might try an 11pm walk tonight!
A punting boater for sure! Those punts will be full of water! A nice shot of the river & always love your Cambridge shots.
A massive downpour & wind while waiting in the waiting room today opened the automatic doors & they wouldn't close! So glad I wore my new winter coat. I thought I would be too hot but it was freezing in there!
