So the Christmas decorations are mostly down and I have no excuse not to get cleaned up. Mostly I miss the fairy lights - might have to get some bunting for spring. Mini chocolate eggs already in the Co-Op - it's no wonder the seasons seem to go by faster each year. Anyway - we survived a walk by the river today - no rowers about so Monty didn't have to worry about cannons going off (bit of a disastrous walk on NYE with bird scarers making Monty literally quiver with fear - followed by fireworks half the night poor boy.
er wow! Liking this new start! Our christmas decorations are coming down like they went up! When I'm home alone on tuesday when hubby at work, kids at school and preschool!
@newbank Thank you - bit underexposed - like my brain feels at the moment. Our decs would have stayed up but I got an offer of help from the other half and jumped at it, Feels a bit bare but at least the dog's found his toy!
Exquisite photo, Judith! I know what you mean about the rapid succession of holidays on the retailers shelves. The Christmas goods were swept away on December 26 and Valentine merchandise is being stocked. We are pushed through the seasons at the speed of retail. Ugh.
@peggysirk I'm going to adopt that phrase 'speed of retail'. I remember the frustration of starting school holidays in the same week that the shops put up their 'back to school displays'!
