Another photo from Wandlebury - this time along the route of the Roman Road - those Romans liked straight. Actually we went to Thetford Forest and had a lovely walk on a cold but sunny morning - patches of snow and ice around in places. Mostly it was fun because Monty was loving it - it's rare to see him forget the danger of loud (or even distant) bangs and just enjoy romping around.
Hello!! One of our favourite places. Thetford forest is a beautiful place, great leading lines here and better for the added people interest. Hope you are well.
I love the canopy these trees have produced. Anything Roman, you can imagine the noise and the thousands of souls who have walked this path. This is lovely.
Lovely shot, the Roman certainly knew how to build roads. Thetford Forest brings back memories too. David spent some of his RAF officer training on exercise in Thetford forest many many years ago.
