Sidgwick Site is home to the Arts Departments so was a mystery to me when I was doing my science PhD. I have plantar fasciitis at the moment so I drove Monty to Newnham for a change of scene. In the end we walked/hobbled quite a long way. The sun was out but it's cold (not east coast USA cold - we weren't going to die...) and it was very quiet - a lovely day for a walk in fact.
Three good things:
1. A different circular route
2. Almost no cars on the road
3. The foot improves during the day so I can get out for a bit.
Oh poor you Judith, that is a rather on going problem whereas I have the simple problem of needing my feet doing. It shouldn't happen to the mother of a podiatrist!! Have been waiting since before Christmas but she is so busy & I don't like making a fuss! She won't see me grumbling on here! Ha ha! Hope your heel soon eases. Will limit your getting about. Love the concrete slats on the ceiling! Rewarded with the bikes parked at the far end. Fave for originality, you were always good at that!
It has indeed been a lovely day for a walk, I'm sorry to read about your foot trouble which must have put a damper on it. The upside down ramp which is the ceiling of the building is what carries the eye to the two bikes against the wall. Lovely composition.
Nice to see the bike shots are back. Yay for #3 - it doesn't sound much fun. I was going to moan about how cold it was in the Forest tonight, but then saw it had "warmed up to -8" for Northy. ;)
Hope the foot gets better
:)
Hope the pain improves before too long.
