Double Daff's..

On my way home today and I saw these Daffodil's on the side of the road.. Alway's get the "warm fuzzy's" when I see these 'ray's of sunshine' as this is by a farm the my Aunt and Uncle owned and these bulbs would of been planted by them probably in the 1940's '50's.. they get no TLC and they pop through every year...

Tthe daffodils give ma "warm fuzzy" as well. Here in Melbourne we used to watch and see if they would bloom by 4th august which is our daughter's birthday. As a little girl she used to get very excited to see them. To this day she still gets a bunch of daffodils on her day.

How weird to see these daffodils....of all the things that bring home the difference in the seasons is the daffodils......a sure sign of Spring in the middle of our hot summer!
