Today the family and I attended the local Anzac parade. This is held on the 25th April to mark the battle in Anzac Cove Gallipolli .. in 1915. I can remember going to this same service when I was a small child. My father was a returned soldier from WW2 and as a mark of respect we marched and attended the service. I can also remember that I got a new dress for the occasion..
This is held at the same cenataph that @dide features in her project today.
