Hydranga's by julzmaioro

Hydranga's

Today I had a big day in the garden .. redoing a garden bed that has been a little negleted.. I pulled out some lavender that have past their use by date so now I have some space for something new .. the Yesterday-Today-&-Tomorrow is in one corner of the garden and it has got to stay along with the Dublin Bay rose .. Watch this space I may even show you the finnished product..
After I had finished I had a walk around the garden and picked some of my Hydranga's that are just coming out in flower .. pleased with all the mixed colours I have ..
Such a cute, colourful image. Lots of gorgeous flowers and lovely composition. Fav

I don't often fave a flower shot but I love hydrangeas so much. A real variety of colours here, never seen such a diffent mix, we tend to get the same colour in the same areas, to do with acidity of the soil I believe but you have all sorts of different ones here. Beautiful in the winter too for. dried flower arrangements!

@happypat they are mostly fairly new plants so hope they stay true up colour.. they are a bit of a 'teen's flower at the moment.. plants I bought 6 years ago for $8 Are now $20... do I like to do them from cuttings.. cutting one year and a few flowers the next so very worth while..

@julzmaioro Yes well with while propagating your own Julz. I like the pink ones but we seem to grow more blue ones round here, we have quite acid soil.
