Today we left Twizel and traveled to Mt Cook ( NZ biggest mountain) .. It is several years since I have been to this area so keen to be there again..I went up the track to Tasman track that took me to the Tasman Lake and a sight of the Tasman Glazier... spectacular.. It was quite a steep climb up lots of steps.. I have a dodgy knee, so I was suffering a bit and was having a bit of a pause at this point and then this lady with the lovely orange top popped up .. she was so lovely and said I had to carry on .. I had no intention to not...
When I got to the top and saw the 'icebergs' floating in the lake I was pretty pleased with my efforts..
The Mountain in the centre is Mt Johnson... so had to get a shot of that...
The top of Mt Cook was under cloud all day .. you will have to look a @shepherdmanswife photo from a week or so ago to see what Mt Cook looks like..
What a glorious capture! Such wonderful scenery and the ladies orange top just pops! As I also have a dodgy knee I can appreciate how difficult this must have been! Well done and well worth all that effort! Fav!
