Another shot of one of Aucklands Volcanoes.. This is One Tree Hill.. One Tree Hill is 425 acres and is run as a working farm, and is situated in the surbanan City .. It is great that this area is left so that City Folk can be so close to farmland..

There use to be a lone Pine tree but was cut down several years ago in protest.. They have planted some young tree's and will select one to be the new 'One' tree when they get a little bigger.

I cannot imagine the kind of person that would cut down the One Tree on that property, oh my. It is a pretty place and I admit when I read “One Tree” I immediately started looking for a single, tall, beautiful tree.

Such an important tree & the hill named after it....must have been a big protest! Luckily the one tree can be replaced! Lovely view, & the monument & plane are lovely additions!
