Our trip to the Chatham Islands was called the For-get-me-not tour.. This beautiful flower/plant is native to the Island so it is great to see them growing in their enviroment.. I do have them growing in my garden, but lots can't grow them .. They grow in pure sand on the very windy coastline. A few years back Cyclone Pam hit the Island and took alot of the coastal plants but it is great to see them coming back again..
What a lovely name, I love forget me nots & these are beauties, quite common over here but a very old fashioned plant that’s perhaps been eclipsed by more modern flowers.
