Port Hutt Shipwreck..

This is known as Shipwreck bay and there were several Ships Hulls around the bay .. The Bay is known as the calmest bay on the Chathams so strange that so many Shipwrecks happen here ..
This boat is The Ferry T and after its time at sea was used as a jewellery workshop .. I would of loved to of got out and had a really good look around but apparantly there is a local that takes exception to 'Tourists' ... so this shot was taken through the bus window..

How strange that this quiet bay is home to these shipwreck, must be the current perhaps driving them in. Lovely capture. Why does the word tourist conjour up such derision sometimes, a lot of places rely on them so much. When we go in a coach I occasionally feel people are looking at us & thinking’ Oh tourists’
