Aotearoa.... Land of the Long White Cloud..

This morning I looked out and saw this scene .. and immediately thought of New Zealand's Maori name... Aotearoa... Land of the Long White Cloud.. I think you can see how it got its name .. These girls in the foreground have returned from their 'holiday' at our other block and have come home to ready themselves for calving ..

And what a view they have! I can see where FG has fed out! Calving time will soon be there...no calving for Brian & Will this year! Fencing at the moment....I think it’s OK but not forever! Weekends off are going down well!
