Just back from a fab concert with Rod Stewart and Cindi Lauper plus some local talent.. Fantastic show at the Mission Estate winery in Napier.. Rain was threatened so we prepared with jackets and rain ponchos but other than a little drizzle at the start we stayed dry..
A show we will remember for ever..

How super. Rod does a great concert. I remember going to see him outdoors at Edinburgh Castle many years ago with my son. It didn't just threaten to rain, it absolutely poured cats and dogs. The backing singers were wearing jackets over their skimpy dresses. Rain was pouring off the the stage 'roof' like a waterfall. We were soaked to the skin, despite our wet weather gear. It was a great concert though and we both remember it well!
He’s great isn’t he? Harry & I have seen him numerous times over the years & he never disappoints! I woke in the night to find our youngest son & partner at the same co cert…their first time. Glad you enjoyed yourselves! Fantastic photo.
@jamibann We saw him at a football stadium years ago & it was absolutely chucking it down. He came down the runway & slipped on the wet surface & cut his leg. While he was having it bandaged up he sang ‘First Cut is the Deepest! @julzmaioro
