Red Kiwifruit..

A friends son has just started a Kiwifruit orchard and this year is the first harvest of the 'Red' variety.. I hadn't had them before so was keen to try, they are earlier to ripen than the usual green and yellow variety. They are very tasty, so look out for them in a supermarket near you.

I like green and yellow kiwi fruit but I didn't know that there was a red variety.

@merrelyn only slightly different colour on the outside but should be labeled as red on shelf.. fruit is smaller than green and yellow.

Will do Julz. Strangely I don’t seem to buy kiwi fruit here. Not a major fruit in the UK. Nice for fruit salads. This is very pretty & I will definitely try one soon.
