Silver eye in Flame Tree..

Spent some time this morning trying to get a bird shot in the Flame Tree.. Had several attempts that were binned but pretty pleased with this one.. They are pretty vigorous feeders for the size of them as bits of the flowers were falling on the ground around me.. They are known as either Silver Eye, Wax eye or the Maori name .. Tahou..

Beautiful shot. Silver Eye's aren't the easiest birds to get a photo of. I noticed yesterday that the flame trees are flowering here too.
