Today being Good Friday it was an early morning start to get the first batch of Hot x buns underway .. Home made Hot x buns are a bit of a family tradition in our family so there is no getting away to make a fresh batch usually 3-4 times over the Easter holiday .. My Mother was a bread maker and taught me well... This batch went to my daughter and her family today so it would be another batch tomorrow for the rest of the family ..
@jyokota they are smaller than fist size... spicy and full of dried fruit... yummy... my Daughter craved them while pregnant so had to make them for months...
You are a brilliant provider of food. I have never made a hot cross bun probably because I am not too much a fan of cinnamon & anything that has lots of fruit such as Christmas fare. These do look good!
@happypat I have been known to make a personalized batch or part batch .. Kylie didn't like fruit, so always made some with out fruit but with the spice .. but I do draw the line at chocolate Hot x buns..
