Today, I spent time with friends who shared their beautifully finished knitting and quilting projects. I hadn't taken time to do much of either lately so I had nothing to share. I found this almost finished project in my attic and decided to try photographing it. The inspiration for this project came from colors of the sunset. I tried to be less straightforward in photographing the shawl so it would look less like "product photography" as the 1 to 1 Apple Creative instructor commented on my photo from yesterday.
I like the suggestion of the yarn in the upper left corner. And the colors and pattern -- I like the way you've laid it out. I wonder how it would have turned out visually if the focus had been in the forefront and then fading back (conveying the 'unfinished' idea.
