Museums are closed on Mondays, we found out . . . but the nature area surrounding them have possibilities for photography. What caught my eye initially is that the trees have little wraps of straw around them, to keep them "warm" in the winter cold. It makes me smile, because how can such a little wrap keep the tree warm? It's symbolic, though, and a testament of fondness for your trees.
@anazad511@judis -- thanks, and yes, that path is inviting, isn't it? @tishpics -- you should see the other ways in which trees are nurtured, both here in Korea as well as in Japan -- and probably other countries! @taffy@pflaume -- I agree, the lines of the path and the lines of the trees contrast nicely, too. @roadshow -- so funny! I'll never be able to look at those tree wraps again without thinking of leg warmers! @lynnb -- or of hugs! @vankrey -- yes, familiarity to us! But when I first read your comment, on the heels of you wondering about the "new Junko" with all the industrial-ness of Germany, I read your comment on familiarity as "the familiar side of Junko" as well! @anwan -- thanks for reading all my explanations! And I thought I'd followed you, too, but I've corrected that now.
