Rain Makes Puddles

2-3 inches of rain on Wednesday plus another 4-6 inches on Thursday wreaked havoc and flooding that resulted in closed streets and canceled 600 flights at O'Hare. Despite the grassy areas still showing, the ducks appear to have sought the watery spots . . .

As for me, I was happy to be grounded and to have an extra day to spend with my daughter and her friends having breakfast and taking photos out of the car window (like this one!).
