Recycled Soju Bottle Tree by jyokota

Recycled Soju Bottle Tree

Soju is a vodka-like drink, popular in Korea. The empty bottles are used by Nami Island crafts people to create everything from wall murals like this one to simply folded in a "u" shape to serve as napkin holders and flattened to use as snack plates. Flattened and stacked, they created a beautifully colored wall at the hotel. Each project is easily distinguishable as recycled soju bottles, which I found to be much of the appeal in terms of obvious recycling. My photo from yesterday

show how they were embedded into plates of glass to create the colorful patterns along the bridge.

That is so cool...I love what they've done.

Nice work!
That makes me think of how the creativity of the digital gerenration is decreasing. In our fast paced life we don't have time to get bored, while boredom inspires creativity.
