Meanwhile, if you are one of the Waldos checking in, please send me an email at junko.yokota@mac.com and I will send all your photos!
And, I would be remiss if I didn't thank Münchener Joseph Donnelly, @jdonnelly, for his tips on photographing Oktoberfest. (And Joseph warned me about how crowded it would be on the weekends and I still went on opening day!)
What an amazing image. You have captured the chaotic nature of a large festival, yet it still feels very orderly... very German I think :).
As you know I'm your get pushed partner for the week. I am so glad I have had the opportunity to be introduced to your work. Its fantastic! Needless to say you have a new follower.
After looking through your albums, the one thing I couldn't find was any portraiture. So for this week I would like to see some 'low-key' portraits. It can be a selfie if you are so inclined... up to you.
Let me know if you have any issues with this challenge and I'll find something else for you.
@dtigani This is a double challenge! Portraiture is something I have not attempted, as you could tell, since I rarely include people in general. And low key? OK, off to go study those two concepts!
Waldo, with the red and white striped shirt, and hat? I haven't spotted one yet! I do see someone with green and white waldo stripes. I will look more later!
