. . . because I was so busy quilting this day that I only took a couple of photos altogether.
This is a completely color-altered version of a quilt my friend @pplutz made. I couldn't take credit for her beautiful creation so I decided to use this as an opportunity to play outrageously with the levels to make it a new palette. You can tell what a great quilter she is because her color balance is great, even when I've altered the colors a lot!
I actually like the bolder tones in this quilt square. And it's so interesting to see what you are pointing out about the color palette working even in the highly saturated format.
