On conference days while traveling, a morning shot from a hotel room window is about as good as it gets. We get picked up after breakfast and are gone all day until after dinner, which in São Paulo is around midnight.
Although I thought it was a beautiful sunrise worthy of getting my camera out, when viewed in RAW, I had to up the saturation to bring out what I recalled from that morning. :)
Beautiful sunrise -- and impressive that you were up so early! I think when shooting in RAW, I almost always having to adjust saturation in sunrise or sunset as I just don't get the color that my eye saw in the scene.
