A look down the long hallway he designed, leading into his children's play room.
SOOC. Tried to straighten a bit, but impossible when taken at a crooked angle. Although I paid the photographer fee so I could take photos, the tour guide gave no time for photography -- as the last person exited, the two of us who were allowed to photograph were immediately called to join the group.
This really stands out in the feed. I do like the lines and too bad they aren't straight, but you've more than made up for it with the color tones and arch at the end. PTLens would likely help here, btw.
@jyokota Software you can download and use as a plug-in with Aperture. It lets you fix distortions. Really inexpensive, and very simple to use. It doesn't do a lot, but what it does, it does well.
Curious. Now that you mentioned it, I played with the photo a bit. It is quite easy to get all the lines dead straight, but still it feels kind of twisted. It is because of uneven lightning at the end of the corridor, I think.
I loved visiting this home! I don't recall a fee for photos. It seems unfair they would mix the photographers with the general populace as, of course they'd want to rush you along... Still, it's a lovely photo, and a nice memory for those of us who have visited there,,,
